WOW! Only after a day about 80% of y'all email us back, Thanks!
If anyone took the email we sent out as that we might stop the service, I'm sorry but that's not the case. We just want to clean up the mailing list and save bandwidth for us and Nintendo.
Everyone was so nice and polite, all I can say is we have the best using our service and thank you for all the praise. I'm so glad everyone is liking VCAlert and WiiShop.
About the Holiday Contest: It looks like our first winner no longer uses the service, but we will give them until Monday (11/12), to answer. If they don't we will redraw another Wii Number. This was one of the reasons we sent out this email.
Now the Polls: We wanted to know if you want to get Alerts for WiiWare and so far 100% of you do. So we will send out Alerts for WiiWare when it starts and if you know someone that only wants WiiWare updates and not Virtual Console updates, tell them about
WiiWare.biz.
As for the Links in the Alerts, about 90% of you want links. Here is the break down.
Don't Care: 5%
Game Page Only: 10%
Forums Only: 15%
Both Game Page and Forums: 70%
You want it, you'll get it. We'll just add it to the bottom of each game info, right after "Release Date".
Most of you know that in December Wii Shop will be adding a way to send Virtual Console and WiiWare games to people on your friends list. So because we love to give stuff away, we'll be giving games away. Some will be that we pick a game but must will be you can pick the game and we'll send it to you, but you'll have to be a member of
